After my last game in Weiden I was overwhelmed with the amount of feelings I had going through my mind. All of the memories that I had made through the entire season seemed to be rushing through my head at the same time. I was trying to reflect on all the memories and friends that I had made in these past 8 months and I was really stunned. After the game they played a message that I had recorded earlier. It was a thank you to all of the people that I had met and all of the management and the fans that supported us throughout the season. I was really grateful to have the opportunity to thank everyone. Afterward, I was presented with a collage full of pictures of all the friends that I had made, a game of Deutschland Monopoly which was an inside joke and a basketball signed by players that I had made friends with. It really brought a tear to my eye as I was given a standing ovation by the crowd.
It was a season full of ups and downs but even after a very tough loss it ended with as big of a high as a person could ask for. Being thanked by all the people that meant so much to me and having them show there appreciation for me was truly a great feeling. I am very thankful for the opportunity that they gave me to play basketball and am glad to have made so many new friends along the way.
