Flyers!

One thing that I will never totally get used to is seeing myself on flyers or posters.
This week Weiden Basketball made 5,000, 3 inch by 6 inch colored handouts with a picture of me shooting a layup on the front and another one of our youth players on the back with our next two home games shown on there. They are really trying to promote basketball in the city and it is such a strange feeling going around to McDonalds or a restuarant and you see a flyer of yourself sitting next to the brochures.

The funny thing about the picture is that I am shooting the layup with my eyes closed. If I remember the play properly there was a player who had his hand right by my face and I thought I was going to get poked in the eye so I closed my eyes. Well, they photoshopped the other player out and it is just a picture of me with a grimace looking like a guy right before he sees a punch coming right at his face. Very cool but very funny.
I will bring some home if anyone wants a copy.
