Home Sweet Home!

We played our fourth game of the season yesterday and second home game.
It proved to be just what we needed to get back to winning.

We also played one of my friends. Mike Zuiderveen. He played at Saginaw Valley and was second in the country in rebound average a game. Needless to say he gobbles up the rebounds over here as well.
His team is extremely large and win the rebounding battle by a large margin every game.
Our plan was to fight with them on the boards and use our speed on offense.
They were also going through some trouble as they added a different point guard for this game.
It proved to be to our advantage as we took a double digit lead in the first quarter and you could tell it didn't
look like they were used to playing with each other. They (crailsheim) continued to rebound the ball really well
and we continued to try to push the pace and they seemed to nullify each other after the first half. 44-44

I played 12 minutes in the first half and played pretty good. 6 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists.

In the second half we came out with some good defense and caused some turnovers. This game we ended up getting more easy baskets than any of our previous games and I think that really helped us to win the game.
Our point guard named Whit and center Marcus both played very well for us and shot the ball extremely well in the game. Overall I feel like we played like a team much more than Crailsheim did and ultimately that can win a lot of games for a team.

I believe that we are going to win a lot of games this year and have a strong season. I personally am looking forward to improving and helping my team win more and more games this year as the season progresses.

Thanks
